Billy is our second cream & black Imperial and is almost identical to Henry. He was built in 2012 by the Imperial Motor Company.
Billy, like Henry, is finished on the outside in black and Old English white (cream); on the inside the seats are cream leather with a red trim and red carpet to the floor. The only difference between the two cars is that Billy has a cloth roof whereas Henry’s is shiny like the wings; but as you can see from the photos the difference hardly notices.
Like all of the Imperials, Billy started life as a London taxi (black cab) and maintains the original chassis, engine etc., but with the cab body removed and the bespoke body put on.
When Billy & Henry go out together for a wedding they look very impressive and get lots of admiring looks from passers-by.
The name link to the number plate is a bit looser for Billy as the registration is EL – Billy ELliot!

The journey to & from the location for our portrait photos in the car was really special & unforgettable - in fact it was the only time during the day that as newly married husband & wife had alone time! For this reason alone it was worth spending some of our wedding budget on a nice car!
